Yoseki craftsmanship incorporates woodwork techniques that put together a plethora of different types of wood using their different colors to draw different patterns. Yoseki has a history of around 200 years as a famous traditional craft in Hakone in Kanagawa prefecture. At the Yoseki Honma Museum of Art, you can watch real craftsmen making all different crafts and there is even a workshop where you can get a hands-on experience of making a simple craft yourself!
