Gods enshrined here include the God of the Sea and the God of Prosperous Business. This shrine's most notable feature is the long path leading up to it, with a climb of 785 stone stairs to reach the main shrine, and 1368 to reach its rear shrine. In addition to the many historical structures found throughout the spacious grounds, there are first class works of art and cultural assets on display at the treasure house and elsewhere. The path to the shrine is lined with shops selling souvenirs like Kagawa's famous udon noodles, and more, making a stroll through the city a quite enjoyable experience as well.
