Lover's Cape, located in Shizuoka prefecture, is notable for its Love Call Bell. Local legends state that two lovers who had been separated had each been given a bell by the gods and that, upon the woman ringing her bell on the cape, the man's fishing boat passed underneath and he rung his bell three times. Visitors to the promenade can ring the love call bell. The shop located at the promenade's entrance, Koibito Misaki will offer "Certificates of Love", as proof of the bell's ringing. The Lover's Cape is a great place for young couples to enjoy.
