Snow Park Yeti is located at the Second Station of Mt. Fuji. It has a ticket admission system, which means that if you pay the entrance fee once, you can use the park freely for the entire day with no need of a lift ticket. There are direct buses to the park from Tokyo and Kanagawa, and ticket sets that include the park entrance fee and the bus fare are available for purchase. All entrance tickets are collected at the gate when leaving the park, so it's important to keep it in a safe place so as to not lose it while you ski.
Yeti is famous for the early opening of its outdoor slopes: on a normal year, the ski season will begin at the end of October. There are four courses available at the park, and they range from beginner to expert level. No matter which course you choose, though, the exhilaration you'll feel as you glide down the slopes with UNESCO World Heritage Site Mt. Fuji in the backgroud will surely be something to remember. Yeti has a unique layout, with all of the courses branching out from the Center House at the top of the park, so you can access the slopes directly without riding the lifts. For those who don't care to ski or have small children with them, there is an area specifically designated for sledding as well as an open space for making snowmen or having snowball fights, making this park a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy a little down time too.
