Utou Shrine is a large shrine located 7 to 8 minutes on foot from Aomori city. Its grounds include a garden and a pond with swimming carps, allowing you to feel the essence of Japan. They also include "Ryujin no Mizu," which is known as a major power spot. It is said that this fountain, which is overlooked by a dragon that seems to be protecting the power spot, is a place where profits spring. The shrine is easy to access from Aomori city, making it a perfect destination in any sightseeing trip. In addition, if you visit Utou Shrine, be sure to take a look at its red stamp booklets and protective amulets. The stamp booklets that have been distributed at the shrine since 2017 boast a large, original stamp depicting the Neputa festival (a traditional festival in Aomori Prefecture). With its intense appearance and eye-catching colors, the Neputa stamp stands out, and is one of our recommendations for your stamp booklet.
