Echizen Matsushima Aquarium located on the coast of Sakai City in Fukui facing the Sea of Japan is a interactive and exciting aquarium with over 350 different species, including a giant 2 ton Sunfish! What makes this aquarium different to other aquariums is that there are many opportunities to actually get up and personal with a lot of the creatures on display, and you can touch and interact with them as you learn about them. Among some of the creatures you can actually touch and interact with are the octopuses, seals, dolphins and even certain types of sharks! You can also feed giant sea turtles!
