With a jaw dropping 1148 feet (350m) fall from its peak, the Shomyo Falls are the biggest waterfall in Japan, located in Tateyama town in Toyama prefecture. The waterfall's power is at it's mightiest during early Summer when the snow in the Tateyama Mountains melts. Why not take an afternoon to cool off at this awe inspiring site, and breathe the fresh air during your summer stay in Japan.
