Located about 20 minutes by car from Ishigaki Airport, the Tamatorizaki Observation Deck offers an unbroken view of the scenery of the east side of Ishigakijima Island. After climbing up, visitors will be able to experience the expansive nature of the island, from the rich green of the mountain range at the northernmost tip of the Hirakubo Hanto Peninsula to the coral reefs spreading out from the coast. Various species of hibiscus grow around the path that leads to the observation deck, so visitors can also enjoy the colorful flowers of the southern country.
