Fusaki Beach is a natural beach surrounded by coral in the Furusaki Beach Resort, a resort hotel about 30 minutes by car from Ishigaki Airport. Due to it being surrounded by a coral reef, tropical fish can be seen even within the swimming area. A net is set up in summer to prevent jellyfish from entering the swimming area and lifeguards are also stationed on the beach, so visitors can swim without worrying. The resort has plenty of other facilities as well, such as swimsuit-friendly bars, snorkeling, flyboards, kayaking, and other marine activities. As the beach is located on the west side of the island, visitors can also gaze out at beautiful sunsets from the wharf.
