Togo Shrine (Fukutsu)

Togo Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Fukutsu city, Fukuoka Prefecture. Located on a mountain, it has one of the best views of the city. It was built in memory of Heihachiro Togo, a hero who defended Japan in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-5). Many people pray at the shrine for success in competitions and exams.
