The Yokohama Chinatown is proud to be one of the largest Chinatowns in the world. Easily accessible, you can get there on a quick trip from Tokyo. There are as many as 600 restaurants you can choose from, with menus which range from delicious all-you-can-eat Chinese to sophisticated Dim Sum tea time. Of course, just to eat and walk around is great fun, but you can also stop by fortune-telling shops, and maybe even get some light shopping done here. Recently, the “Yokohama Kanteibyo”, a shrine to China’s historical hero, Guan Yu from the Three Kingdoms period, has emerged as a popular attraction and is gaining popularity among travelers.
