Yonaha Maehama Beach of Okinawa Prefecture is easily one of the most famous beaches in Japan. In fact, it is one of several popular beaches on Miyakojima Island, which is considered a hub for some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Yonaha Maehama Beach is a 7-kilometer stretch of pristine, white sands, and sometimes it is even called the most beautiful in the East. The beach is an excellent place to swim and sunbathe, of course, but snorkeling around the coral reefs is also a popular pastime for visitors.
