Hyogo
Hyogo is the prefecture to the west of Osaka. It stretches all the way from the Seto Inland Sea in the south to the Sea of Japan in the north. Awaji Island, the island connecting Japan's main island Honshu to Shikoku, is also part of Hyogo. However, Hyogo is most famous for the coastal city of Kobe with its international flair. Another popular destination in Hyogo is Himeji Castle, one of the most famous castles of Japan.
